Stuck In Long Bank Queues? Pizza Hut India May Just Hand You A Free Slice Of Pizza

The demonetization plan in India is taking its toll; Indians wander around large areas of the cities trying to find working ATMS, banks have queues longer than the wall of China outside them and rural folk are wondering what’s to become of their life’s savings.

However, Pizza Hut India has stepped forward to become a ray of sunshine for many weary queue-rs. Pizza Hut employees have been visiting select bank outlets in major cities and handing out slices of free pan pizza along with glasses of water.

Free Pizza, People!

Over the past few days, the pizza chain has been delivering Rs 5 lakh worth pizza slices at select bank outlets across Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Pune and Bangalore.  Banks on the pizza radar include ICICI, HDFC, Corporation Bank, Axis Bank and the Bank of Baroda.

While we weren’t lucky enough to have been paid a visit from the pizza fairy yet, perhaps we’ll come across them delivering pizzas and a little dose of happiness tomorrow. Makes that trip to the bank a little more exciting, doesn’t it?
