Take A Look At Cindy Crawford’s 11 Layer “Casa” Burger!
We all know what happens when a supermodel and a burger come together (or even an actress and a burger, for that matter). The results are always Instagram-worthy if nothing less. But what if we told you that you could actually eat a supermodel-special supremely upmarket and loaded burger, courtesy Umami Burger and Cindy Crawford?
That’s right, the million dollar super model has ditched the salads for a burger. And for a cause, not a cheat meal. Crawford is the shiny new name that has been added to Umami Burger’s Artist Series, which lets famous faces create one-of-a-kind burgers. The limited-edition menu additions aim at raising money for charity, so you can do more than put on extra calories while downing an Umami burger.

11 Layers of Awesome
As part of the collaboration, Crawford has created a massive 11-layer Casa Burger, which draws inspiration from South American flavours. The 11 layers include two jalapeño-studded beef patties with miso-infused mustard, avocado, tomato, butter lettuce, American cheese, Umami house spread, and caramelized onions. That all gets topped with queso fresco and tortilla chips tossed in salsa brava. Take a look!
Crawford’s towering burger isn’t the only new addition to the Umami menu. The supermodel’s husband, Rande Gerber, has also crafted a special Spicy Margarita to accompany his wife’s culinary feat using Casamigos, his own brand of tequila, and peppers.
“Normally you don’t think burger and margarita, but we drink everything with Casamigos, so the fun for us was to work together,” Crawford told People. “I do eat burgers a lot, actually. I don’t normally eat the bun, I will say that, but you need something to hold it together.”
So where does the money from the burgers’ sale go? For every burger sold, Wisconsin’s American Family Children’s Hospital will receive a $1 donation from Umami.
Previously, Umami’s Artist Series menu has seen creations from popular personalities, which include the likes of Alton Brown, like Mindy Kaling, internet sensation Cameron Dallas, and the Black Keys.
