The Future Is Female, Rajouri Garden Is Definitely Worth A Visit

We recently visited the first-of-its-kind all-women run bar and restaurant – TFIF, The Future Is Female – and we can’t wait to tell you all about it. The ambience and the interiors of the place are unique and the innovative dishes definitely ups the ante! TFIF offers an extensive menu which has something for everyone whether it’s an indulgent meal you are looking for or a healthy bite, they have it all. Did we mention they also have their own all-women run bakery too?

On the chef’s recommendation we tried the Vilayati Chicken Tikka (Chicken legs marinated in tandoori masala, cooked in clay oven), TFIF Special Meatball Pizza, Lahori Chicken accompanied with Butter Naan & Laccha Paratha. We also tried the Kala Khatta mocktail which went extremely well with the food. The star dish was definitely the Lahori Chicken which really gave our tastebuds a taste of Lahore.

Some other dishes on the menu are – Khumani Tikki Chaat, Thai Chicken Dimsum, Exotic Veg Bao, Lo-Cal Quinoa Salad, Asian Mushroom Cups, and Jwala Macchi, Lamb Shanks served with Butter Garlic Rice, Prawn Teen Mirchi, and Chicken Biryani.

Harjas Kaur Arneja and Archie Singh, co-founders of TFIF, strongly believe in empowering the women folk so that they can adapt and follow an independent lifestyle. Thus, TIFF has been created as a women-powered space, accommodating women chefs and servers for everything, from the bar to the bakery.

During our conversation with Archie she said, “We have recently launched a ‘SheCan’ campaign, wherein 10 per cent our sales from the to-be-introduced merchandise section will be donated to a women-centric NGO, we have collaborated with. We will also be coming up with a nail boutique under the same name.”
