Ashton Kutcher’s Pancake Fail Is All Too Real

Ever doled out a spoonful of pancake batter onto a griddle, hoping and praying for a perfectly golden pancake and not getting anything but a partly charred misshapen lump of batter? Yeah, we’ve been there too. And apparently, so has Ashton Kutcher, who recently failed super hard at making a batch of Paw Patrol pancakes for his 3-year-old daughter, Wyatt, with wife Mila Kunis.

The That 70’s Show actor took to Instagram to share an image of his version of a pancake. We say his version because it sure was not a pancake. And even young Wyatt might agree with us!

According to Kutcher’s post, he “was trying for a skye from #pawpatrol pancake”. For the uninitiated, Paw Patrol is a popular Canadian animated series that revolves around six puppies, which are led by a tech-savvy 10-year-old boy named Ryder. Needless to say, Skye is one of the six puppers, and Kutcher’s pancake is definitely not what the four-legged looks like.


“My daughter [says], ‘what’s this suppose to be?’” Kutcher added along with his picture of the dog-shaped pancake. To be fair, the 40-year-old’s attempt is way better than most of ours’ (yes, Ryan Reynolds, we’re looking at you and your holiday cookies) and we cannot overlook the multi-layered detailing, but he may want to look into taking some classes before he flips out any more pancakes, especially ones shaped like animals or cartoon characters.
