Robotics is in the air and it’s what’s making the world go around.
China is testing out Robo- waiters and Robo-cooks in some of its restaurants. Un-picture the “I,Robot” and other sci-fi movie robots and re-picture these adorable robots that will greet you with 40 different phrases. They’re even capable of carrying out polite conversation with you. Beat that, awkward silence! And that’s not all, Robo-cooks can make dumplings (among other dishes) and serve them out. Restaurants that hire these robots, have a one time investment of $8,100, no salary, for at least 8 years.
