[Exclusive] Holachef’s Whole Wheat Chicken Burger with Tzatziki and Fattoush

Ingredients
- For the burger -
- 160 gm minced chicken
- 20 gm butter
- garlic
- onions
- Fresh thyme and oregano
- paprika
- Chilli paste/ Paprika paste
- Bell peppers and onions cut into rounds
- burger buns
- For the Tzatziki -
- cucumbers
- curds
- Mint leaves
- toasted sesame seeds
- salt and pepper
- For Fattoush -
- English cucumber
- tomatoes
- Red radish slices
- Spring onion
- mint
- Parsley
- Green lettuce
- bell peppers
- Lemon juice
- olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Sumac powder
- Pita bread
Instructions
- For the burger -
- Melt butter in a pan. Saute garlic, onion, fresh thyme and oregano, paprika, chilli paste/paprika paste. Let it cool and adjust the seasoning, if required. Marinade the chicken mince in this mixture.
- Make a patty out of this mixture and grill.
- For the salad vegetables that go into the burger, cut roundels of bell peppers and onion. Put them in the same pan in which the patty was browned.
- Stuff the burger buns with the patty, top with the salad vegetables and serve.
- For the Tzatziki -
- Peel and grate the cucumber; drain all the excess water. Mix the cucumber with curds, chopped mint and toasted sesame seeds. Adjust the seasoning of salt and pepper and serve in a bowl.
- For Fattoush -
- Cut all the vegetables into diamond shaped pieces. Mix them together and toss it with a dressing of lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and sumac powder.
- Take the pita bread and cut it into triangles. Fry the pita bread or roast it in the oven and crush the crispy pita bread.
- Garnish the salad with this pita bread and serve.
