Captain America Shot Recipe

Have you seen Captain America: The Civil War yet? If not, we’re not going to spoil things for you but we will say this – there are some awesome fight scenes paired with an intense plot and interesting character development. If you’re a fan of the Marvel universe, we’re sure the combination of these elements as well as the conclusion of the film is going to leave you needing a good stiff drink. In a tribute to Captain America and Chris Evans, who skilfully played the character we’re sharing a shot recipe inspired by the superhero with you.

The Captain America Shot

For obvious reasons, the Captain America shot is blue, white and red. It combines grenadine syrup with two liquors making a potent shot.

Serve these shots at a Marvel themed party as a tribute to Captain America.

• 1/4 ounces grenadine syrup
• 1/4 ounce Sambuca
• 1/2 ounces blue curacao

Instructions

1. Pour the Grenadine into a shot glass followed by the Sambuca followed by the Blue Curacao.
2. Serve immediately, making sore not to shake the glass - else the colours will mix.
