Subway India Opens Outlet At Rashtrapati Bhavan
After touring the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, visitors can now enjoy a sub(marine) sandwich, thanks to a landmark Subway outlet which just opened its doors in the Clock Tower area of the President’s Estate.

The new Subway is the first quick service restaurant in the iconic and historic area. The museum showcases nearly 2000 artefacts and is spread across 1.30 lakh square feet.
Commenting on the opening, Niranjan Kumar Sudhansu, the director of the Rashtrapati Bhavan said “The restaurant would serve fresh and wholesome food to the hundreds of visitors that the Rashtrapati Bhavan museum attracts every day.”
Meanwhile, Ranjit Talwar, the Country Head of Subway Systems India said ““SUBWAY’s focus on customization enables it to innovate and create new products mostly inspired from well-loved local Indian flavours. It is extremely gratifying that the Rashtrapati Bhavan authorities have given SUBWAY this unique and prestigious opportunity.”
At present, Subway has 580 restaurants across 70 Indian cities.
