Agrotech Foods Releases New ACTII Pop ‘N’ Serve Tub Of Popcorn

Agrotech Foods Limited, which manufactures the popular ActII popcorn brand has launched a new product – the ACTII Popcorn Pop ‘n’ Serve Tub, which aims to give consumers a ‘movie theatre like experience’ at home.

The Pop ‘n’ Serve tub is a large tub, which, when placed in a microwave for three minutes will produce hot, ready to eat popcorn. Consumers can then eat from the tub itself, recreating a cinema like experience, were patrons eat popcorn from tubs.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Asheesh Sharma, Vice President – Marketing, AgroTech Foods Limited said, “ACT II is one of the biggest success stories in the popcorn category, doubling in size between 2010 to 2016. Putting our consumers’ demand as our sole goal – we are excited to introduce Pop ‘n’ serve tub into the ACT II portfolio that will provide consumers with a unique and delicious snacking experience, recreating a movie theatre like experience at home. This new addition is the only product of its kind in the Indian market, we are confident it will be relished across ages”

The tubs will be available pan India from August 1st at the introductory price of Rs.92 and available in two flavours; Natural and Movie Theatre Butter.
