Drink Me Potion
The ‘Drink Me Potion’ that Alice came across had a similar effect. Here’s what it tasted like:
“…so Alice ventured to taste it, and, finding it very nice (it had, in fact, a sort of mixed flavor of cherry-tart, custard, pine-apple, roast turkey, toffy, and hot buttered toast), she very soon finished it off.”

Sounds delicious, right? We thought so too. So, today we’re sharing a recipe for the Drink Me potion, adapted from Food in Literature. Sip it with a meal or while you’re watching the trailers for Tim Burton’s Alice Through The looking glass which releases next year.

- 1/4 pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup Cherry Juice
- 1/4 cup custard
- 300 ml thickened cream
- 85 grams butter
- 100 gram brown sugar
Ingredients
For the toffee sauce

- Combine the juices and custard together.
- Stir together the cream, butter and brown sugar over a low flame until the sugar dissolves.
- Allow the toffee sauce to cool and stir it into the juice custard mixture.
- Serve and enjoy.
