Attention, Harry Potter Fans! Christmas Dinner Is Being Held At The Great Hall This Year!
Every Harry Potter fans’ dream is about to come true this Winter. The Warner Bros. Studio in London has just announced the most magical event ever and Potterheads around the world are going crazy. A “one night only”, special dinner is being held, and guess where… At the Great Hall! Yes, you read that right! Guests will get to dine in the very room where the movie was filmed, and we hear the hall will be set up just like the movie with the same props and flaming Christmas puddings and cherry-studded hams everywhere. Golden baubles shaped like moons and partridges will be all over the trees while a beautiful feast will be spread over the great tables. Diners will also be handed wands as they are seated for the first two courses of Christmas dinner!
However, there are some conditions. You will have to be at least 18 years old to dine at the Great Hall, and one ticket will cost you £230 ($349). That’s around Rs.22,948! But don’t you think it’s worth all the drinks, canapés, roast turkey, cranberry and sausage stuffing, brussels sprouts, Butterbeer, and dessert that you’re about to enjoy? You also get a studio tour to add to the magical experience!
But that is not all. They’ve got post-dinner activities for you too! Part of the studio tour includes walking through the sets of the Gryffindor common room and the Weasley’s kitchen at The Burrrow – all set for the winter scene. You also get to treat yourself to three festive dessert bowls on Platform 9 ¾, alongside the original Hogwarts Express. And if that wasn’t already the best thing, you can drink Butterbeer in the backlot café and and take a walk through Diagon Alley, before being wowed by the Hogwarts castle model, which will be covered in a layer of film-making snow especially for the festive season! You get to spend the rest of your evening dancing about with music, and a bar for anyone who’d like to enjoy a few drinks.
