These Brave Souls Just Created A 100 Pound Big Mac
A few days ago, the original Big Mac creator, Jim Delligatti passed away leaving behind the Big Mac as a legacy. Made with two beef patties, three pieces of bread, special sauce and onions, the Big Mac is McDonald’s signature item and has gathered a legion of fans ever since it was created in 1967.
Supersizing The Big Mac
Mere days before Delligatti passed away, Epic Meal Time, a Facebook page dedicated to creating monstrous works of food created a 100lbs Big Mac.
This stupendous creation was made by assembling a full jar of mayonnaise mixed with onions, two full baking trays of ground beef, pillow sized sheets of cheese and massive buns. Fittingly, the video is set to the tune of an opera which helps you appreciate just how big an undertaking it was.
Why, you ask has Epic Meal Time expended its energy on this calorie rich creation? According to their ‘About’ page, their mission is “to create the most epic meals and then eat them. In a time where people are putting an emphasis on dieting and health, we choose to rebel.”
Epic Meal Time has previously created Peanut Butter and Jelly breadsticks and a cheeseburger pizza.
