Brits Can’t Get Over Americans Discovering The Chip Butty
Let’s be honest, British food can seem pretty odd to the average American, so when Insider posted a video of a Turkish restaurant preparing a chip butty (a sandwich filled with fries) expressing shock at the “invention” the Brits went in on Twitter.

This is almost as embarrassing as when Americans discovered the sausage roll last year, like it was some sort of world changing groundbreaking discovery. Meanwhile in Britain we’ve been having this food for years and years and years ???

It’s a chip butty, sold in every chippy in the UK since forever ??. Now if you’re impressed with that a pie butty, affectionately known as a Wigan Kebab, will really bake your noodle ?? pic.twitter.com/kE9KthMTSV

Just FYI, we actually have chip butties here in Bangalore and they are delicious. Try it, you can thank the Brits later.
