We have created new sticky rice dum sum and wine based cocktail and dessert to stay true to our authentic tradition in China. The menu has been prepared to accentuate all senses – from visual to taste to fragrance.”

At Yauatcha , the dim sum teahouse from London, the Dragon Boat Festival comes alive with traditional dishes curated in a special menu crated by Head Chef Wang Yixuan. We were invited for a sneak peak at the exclusive variety of zongzi dishes and we were left to wonder in awe. From lamb, pork belly, chicken and prawns, along with mouth-watering asparagus filled sticky rice for the vegetarians, the flavours from the dishes were as enchanting and enthralling as the Dragon Boat races held in China during this festival. The eye-catching presentation of the dishes served in midst of the serene ambiance at Yauatcha, it is the perfect way to spend a quiet night out in Bengaluru with traditional Chinese cuisine.
Not only is the menu filled with an wide assortment of zongzi varieties, you can also indulge in a brilliant concoction called Citruz Spritz, a combination of vodka, dry vermouth, lime and Chandon Brut to compliment the dishes. The menu finishes up with a sumptuous desert which can only be tasted to be believed, an elegantly plated Wine-soaked water chestnut and mango cake with Sauvignon sorbet.
