on

It’s a dream come true for all foodies who love Asian cuisine out there as China Town hosts it’s special Mongolian Food Festival. The trademark festival, which is being hosted at their restaurant on Cathedral Road, is all set to please the foodies in the city and will be running until the 6th of December.

We were hosted by China Town’s seasoned chef, Chef Lai Chee Chung, who is anchoring the festival and has prepared a delightful menu of selective sizzlers and stir-fry’s. Some of the sizzlers on the festival’s menu that caught our eye were the Hunan baby corn with tofu & mushroom, Stir fried chicken with chilli peppers and onion, Roasted lamb with broccoli & mushroom in hot garlic sauce, to name a few. The desserts were also sizzlers as well and we spotted mout-watering items like Sizzling brownies, Coconut dim sums, and Sizzling pineapples. The dinner buffet that went with the festival also had some new dishes on the menu, complementing the theme of the festival.

What we had:

Fish & Vegetable Stir Fry

Tender and well cooked fish in a mild garlic sauce makes this dish absolutely enjoyable, and to complement the fish are some fresh vegetables, chosen right out of the live stir-fry counter.

Dim Sums
