Coca-Cola India Launches Maaza Gold

Maaza, the popular mango drink is getting a new variant – Maaza Gold, shortly after Thums Up received its own new variant in Thums Up Charged. Coca-Cola India has added Maaza Gold as it looks to accelerate Maaza’s journey towards becoming a billion dollar mango juice brand by 2023, according to a statement made by the company.

“We are always listening to our consumers and with the launch of Maaza Gold the company is expanding its product portfolio in-line with consumer tastes. The company at the same time is also accelerating Maaza’s journey towards becoming a homegrown billion-dollar brand by 2023,” said Srideep Kesavan, director marketing – Juices, Coca-Cola India & South West Asia.


Maaza Gold will be available in modern retail outlets, select grocery stores, and online stores. If Coca-Cola’s plans to make Maaza a billion dollar mango juice brand come to fruition, the trickle-down effect will help around 100,000 mango farmers in India.
