Indian American gourmet expert Aarthi Sampath, who had earlier won the reality show, “Chopped!,” has now risen as the victor of Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay.” Flay is no stranger to culinary competitions. He is known for hosting “Bobby’s Dinner Battle” and contending on “Throwdown! With Bobby Flay.” In “Beat Bobby Flay,” he does both.
Every 30-minute episode of “Beat Bobby Flay,” a cooking rivalry show, starts with two culinary experts contending to make a dish utilizing an ingredient picked by Flay. The champ of that round – as determines by a special guest judge – goes to the second round, in which he or she fights against Flay.
