Domino’s Ends Free Lifetime Pizza Offer For People With Tattoos Of Their Logo After Too Many People Get Tatted
It turns out that people will do pretty much anything for a lifetime supply of free pizza. That’s exactly what Domino’s Pizza in Russia found out when they had to end an offer for 100 years of free pizza for anyone who had tattooed their logo on their body and (because this is the world we live in now) posted it on social media.
From what we can tell (our Russian is not so good), Domino’s Russia posted on the Russian version of Facebook stipulating that if a customer got the logo tattooed on their person, they would be eligible for up to 100 free pizzas every year for 100 years. Honestly, even we think that’s a brilliant offer, a tattoo in exchange for free pizza (it’s like we’re living in a Neo-capitalist nightmare).
Unfortunately, hundreds of people reasoned that a tattoo in exchange for free pizza was a brilliant offer that social media was flooded with pictures that Domino’s was forced to shut down the offer after only a week. According to local news reports Domino’s sent out an urgent message that only 350 participants would be able to avail of the offer and urged people to cancel their tattoo appointments if they hadn’t yet been tatted. It looks like people will do just about anything for a free lunch!
