The Chinese New Year is falling on 16th February this year, but Hakkasan has already set up its delectable feast for the occasion which will be seen on their special menu till 4th March. So it’s time to take part in the festivities at Hakkasan and relish traditional Chinese delicacies in Mumbai.

Bringing you the authentic Cantonese cuisine, the chefs from Hakkasan restaurants in London, USA, the Middle East and Asia have curated this special menu. The exciting part about the celebrations in the wishing tree tradition wherein you can write your wishes on a red ribbon provided by the restaurant and these will be hung in the dining area!
The specially curated menu lets the diner choose from dishes curated by the Hakkasan chefs worldwide and this tantalizing fare includes delicacies like Pork siew long bun, Asparagus and edamame dumpling, Stir fry mushrooms with golden mantao for small eats, Wok fried native lobster in black truffle sauce, Baked Chilean sea bass with kumquat glaze, Wok fried vegetarian chicken in hakka spicy sauce and Szechwan noodles with shiitake mushrooms and chicken for the mains. For desserts you can have a flavourful Golden Fortune dessert with ginger caramel, roasted macadamia nuts and lemongrass.

New Year celebrations are incomplete without drinks so clink your glasses to a special cocktail for the occasion – Happy Daisy. The drink includes Tanqueray No.10 gin, Chartreuse Yellow, lemon, spiced mandarin jam, egg white and soda water. This Chinese Year marks the Year of the Dog and to celebrate this with great gusto, Hakkasan is going to organise a performance by authentic Chinese lion dancers on 3rd and 4th February. These dances are the symbolic expressions of luck, prosperity and good fortune.
