The Re-Launch
Cafe Basilico had a strong presence in Bandra’s food scene for eleven years until two years ago, when it closed for development and remodelling.
Along with Ayesha Takia and Farhan Azmi, the re-launch saw Pooja Bhatt, Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty.
Vegan Bites and Fresh Ingredients
Takia, who has been a vegan for six years, had a major influence on new additions to Cafe Basilico’s menu, which includes items like Black Bean Burgers, Barbecued Tofu, Bonsai Quinoa Burger and Five Bean Salad.

Additionally, the restaurant will be serving seasonal vegetables and using fresh, organic ingredients from Azmi’s farm in Bhiwandi. The restaurant will also retail produce from the farm, giving customers a new place to buy organic goods.
Excited to try out the new fare? The restaurant opened its doors on May 13th; head over and feast away!
