A Festival Dedicated To Prosecco Is Coming To England This May
That’s right, there’s a festival where you can drink Prosecco to your heart’s content for three days straight and not once question whether this is a good idea or not.
From May 12th to 14th, Prosecco lovers will get to enjoy the delicious drink from North East Italy and sample food, participate in master-classes and even watch live performances. It’s like a regular food festival, but with Prosecco as the leading lady.
Prosecco Springs will be happening at Oval Space, in East London where producers of Prosecco will be on hand to talk about their produce, answer questions and take you on a journey you never thought you’d experience. There will also be a range of Italian food from traditional to more modern sharing plates and charcuterie. Everything on the menu will be made using regional ingredients imported from Italy and it will perfectly pair with the Prosecco on offer.
And if that’s not enough, there will be a series of Prosecco Master Classes in conjunction with the East London Wine School, where sommeliers will teach visitors everything there is to know about Prosecco – including the process of grape to glass and pairing Prosecco with food.
You can get tickets for each day – split into four sessions costing £35 each session – and then get tickets for the Masterclass as well, which is only valid if you get the festival tickets. Each ticket entitles visitors to a glass of Prosecco from each of the 8 producers that will be at the festival.
