Georgia Gold Chicken, KFC’s Latest Menu Addition Is Coming Soon

Remember when Kentucky Fried Chicken introduced the Nashville Hot Chicken? We do, since it just felt like we got it the other day. But now, KFC has introduced something new and named after another state in America: Georgia Gold Chicken.

The Gold Chicken will be available in Extra Crispy Chicken Tenders, Chicken Littles and Extra Crispy Chicken. As for what it tastes like? The chicken is tossed in a special sweet and tangy honey mustard BBQ sauce and served with pickles.

KFC tested this new addition in parts of the country last year, including Pittsbugh, when the chief marketing officer of the brand spoke about the new flavour, saying, “Georgia Gold gets sweetness from the honey, a nice spice from the mustard and a kick from the vinegar. It is crispy with a balance of sweet and tangy flavor that stays true to the Georgia original.”
