Google Has Made A Major Update To The Way It Shows Users Recipes
What do you do when you want a recipe which none of your recipe books have? You don’t go out and buy a new book – you Google it – after all, this is the age of the internet. In the past, a Google search for ‘fried chicken recipe’ or ‘roast potatoes’ recipe would have yielded you pages of links which lead to pages with these recipes. Now, Google is making your life even easier, by providing you with a carousel of recipes at the top of the page.
Recipe Searches Made Easier
Once you type the recipe into the Google search bar, Google will place some of the best results in a carousel at the top of the page. This features both an image of the dish as well as the link below; you can scroll through this and select the one which most appeals to you.
The carousel also reflects the amount of stars and reviews each dish has received.
At present, the feature is only available on your mobile device.
