Gowardhan Milk Launches Hundred Percent Cow’s Milk In Delhi NCR
Hundred percent cow’s milk by the brand Gowardhan has been launched in Delhi NCR which will be supplied from the Sonipat plant of Parag Milk Foods Ltd reports F&B News. Along with the city, the brand also aims to supply the milk to regions within 250-300 kilometers radius of the plant.
Parag Milk Foods Ltd Expands
“With our recent acquisition of Danone’s facility in Sonipat, we have commenced the operations with pouch milk supply under our Gowardhan brand,” Devendra Shah, chairman, Parag Milk Foods Ltd told F&B News. “North India is one of the key priority markets for Parag Milk Foods, and we are targeting to garner a 10 per cent market share in the region. The consumption of dairy products is the highest in this region, and the initiative will allow us to make the goodness of cow’s milk reach Delhi and NCR and the neighbouring regions,” he added.
The report further says that the company also plans to upgrade the facility in the coming week and will be able to supply curd, buttermilk and yoghurt along with production of fresh milk. The North and East markets will be supplied these products from the Sonipat plant.
