Guess Who Just Made Their Indian Debut?

on

One of the world’s largest restaurant chains, Wendy’s is now in India. Wendy’s franchisee in the country, Sierra Nevada Restaurants, a joint venture between International Market Management (UK) and Rollatainers Ltd (India), officially unveiled its first restaurant in Sector 29 Gurgaon. Sierra Nevada plans to open three more outlets in Delhi/NCR during the summer months and up to 20 more in North India over the next few years. In foodie words, we have a whole new restaurant to explore and from what we hear, you are going to be lovin’ it!

The Wendy’s India menu will be beef-free (surprisingly) and includes Wendy’s classics such as the Baconator (with chicken instead of beef) as well as salads, baked potatoes, chili and the Frosty dessert. Wendy’s has one of the widest vegetarian menus in its sector, with six new burgers including the Greek Falafel, Spinach ‘n Corn and the Mushroom Cheese. Go on vegetarians, do your green dance!

Sanjay Chhabra, one of the directors at Sierra Nevada said that while staying true to Wendy’s values, they are customizing the brand experience to make it relevant to the current Indian market. Jasper Reid, a director at Sierra Nevada added that the restaurant features include a bold and contemporary design, engaging music and food served on real plates.

The Wendy’s team is super excited about launching the chain in India with and looks forward to delivering a par excellence restaurant experience that delights our customers and earns their loyalty and trust. Well, we expect nothing less from the stalwarts.
