Acqui-Hires
According to InnerChef, taking over Flavour Labs will enable the former to step foot into the mobile kitchen arena, while EatOnGo will facilitate it to penetrate deeper in the Bengaluru market.
Also, the InnerChef founders explained that the deals were more of acqui-hires, that is, acquisitions of talent rather than the business/technology of the companies.
Although the financial particulars of both the deals are yet to be disclosed, Inner Chef co-founder, Rajesh Sawhney said in a statement, “these acquisitions will help InnerChef deepen its offerings to the two of the fastest growing markets in India: NCR and Bangalore. We are also acquiring talent who share our passion for food and technology.”
