Japan Probably Has The Best Hospital Food In The World
Pop culture has routinely reiterated that hospital food is bad, like, really bad. However, it turns out that might be the case in only certain countries (yes, yours is probably on the list). Recently, a woman who gave birth in a Japanese hospital shared some pictures of the food – big shocker, it looked pretty appetising.
The woman (who remains unnamed) shared pictures on Imgur of the meals she ate over the course of her 12 day stay in the hospital. We honestly have to say, the majority of the food in these pictures look restaurant quality, at least. Take a look at some of the meals she ate.
“Omuraisu, macaroni salad, chicken soup, squid rings, fruit, green tea.”
“Chicken fingers with shredded cabbage salad, bitter melon stir fry, agedashi tofu, carrot salad, rice, miso soup.”
“Salmon, tofu, spinach salad, natto, miso soup, rice, milk.”
I guess the big takeaway from this story is if you ever have to be admitted in hospital, make sure it’s in Japan!
