Krispy Kreme Is Dropping Their New #VoteForGlaze Flavor, But Only For A Week

In January, we let you know that Krispy Kreme was giving you the opportunity to choose the next glaze flavor with the #VoteForGlaze campaign. Now, they’re finally releasing The Lemon Glaze Doughnut, which the confectionery chain says “balances the freshness of real lemon, the brightness of citrus and the sweetness of Krispy Kreme’s iconic Original Glazed Doughnut.”

Almost two million votes were cast, but in the end lemon emerged victorious over the other three options: caramel, blueberry and maple. However, it’s not all citrus and doughnuts as Krispy Kreme is only releasing the Lemon Glaze Doughnut for a week!

Now, for the important details, you can get your hands on a Lemon Glaze Doughnut starting on April 23rd at participating outlets. But, you better hurry, because come April 29th, the Lemon Glaze Doughnut will be one for the history books!
