Lay’s Do Us A Flavor Contest Has Some Pretty Odd Frontrunners

It’s a known fact that Lay’s are beloved around the world. I know my life definitely changed for the better when Lay’s came out with their American Sour Cream n’ Onion flavor! Such is the brilliance of the chip company that they’ve come out with the Do Us A Flavor Contest to ensure that there is no dearth of flavor in the chip world.

Contestants could send in submissions for a new flavor along with a back story that people could vote on. The three flavors with the most votes would end up on store shelves. While the contest started at the beginning of the year the results are set to be announced on the 18th of July!

The final 10 flavors are out, and I have to say that Americans have some pretty strange tastes. While an Avocado Toast flavor made it to the list (obviously) other frontrunners were Toasted Ravioli, Fried Green Tomato (what?) and Smoked Gouda and Honey?
