Could You Be Netflix’s Food Instagrammer For Chef’s Table Season 2?
A couple of months ago, Netflix came to India and there were thousands of celebratory parties (with live streaming, of course) thrown across the country. Now, Netflix is all set to tap into foodies’ hearts with a streaming of the second season of Chef’s Table and a search for Asia’s best Instagrammer to join the Chef’s Table journey. Before we get into that, here’s a little about –
Chef’s Table
Directed by Clay Jeter, Brian McGinn, Andrew Fried and David Gelb (of ‘Jiro Dreams of Sushi’ fame), Chef’s Table explores the lives of a collection of well-renowned chefs across the world.
Season 1, for instance followed Massimo Bottura, Ben Shewry and Magnus Nilsson for respective episodes while Season 2 followed Gaggan Anand (of Gaggan in Thailand, named the best restaurant in Asia in 2015 by Restaurant magazine) along with Grant Achatz and Alex Atala. Season 3 and 4 followed similarly prolific chefs across the world.
The Hunt For A Chef’s Table Instagrammer
With the My Chef’s Table campaign, Netflix is offering a foodie a chance to travel to all the restaurants featured in season 2 of the series and photograph their food journey. To participate, upload your best food photograph to Instagram with the hashtag #MyChefsTable; the winning photographer will visit restaurants in Mexico, Slovenia, Chicago, Brazil, San Francisco and Thailand to take photos (and, of course, taste delectable food).
Sounds exciting? We think so too – go ahead and participate! Visit mychefstable.netflix.com and Netflix’s Instagram account for more information! Don’t forget to catch Chef’s Table season 2, which went online on Netflix yesterday.
