Now You Can Make Your Prosecco Even More Extra With Rose Gold Glitter
Folks, the day has come. It seems as though it’s just not enough to have a glass of Prosecco. The forces that be (AKA white people) have now decided that just a plain old glass of Prosecco just won’t cut it anymore. In case you’re like me and are wondering just what the difference is between Processo and Champagne, you’ll just have to Google it because I have literally no idea.
I jest, first of all. Prosecco comes from Italy (tbh the name was a bit of a giveaway) while Champagne comes from France. Also, a bottle of Champagne costs a (frankly unholy) 2 to 3 times more than a glass of Prosecco. This is primarily due to the difference in their method of production. While the Prosecco makers opted for the cheaper “Tank Method” Champagne makers prefer the expensive “Traditional Method” (seriously, French people are so extra).
However, this latest development could be the secret to giving Prosecco that little push to win out against Champagne (apart from the price, obviously). Cue the drumroll because you can now buy edible shimmer to upgrade your glass of fizz. The shimmer dust gives sparkling drinks an iridescent finish, as well as adding a slight raspberry flavor (What is this sorcery?).
It’s available from Lakeland, a UK store, which means, unfortunately, it’s not available here (I know, I’m tired of writing that as well. But have no fear, because we’re a country of problem solvers, not problem makers (some of the time) and we’re sure that the latest genius churned out of IIT will put an end to our shimmerless days (seriously, peeps make it happen). Until then, we’ll be patiently waiting because we can’t wait to get our hands on it. I mean, it has looks and taste, what more could you ask for?
