The Park Hotels Introduces “The Park Picnic” As Part of In-Room Dining

On August 1st, 2016, The Park Hotels introduced a new feature into their in-room dining. Like in our childhood, the idea of picnics has been brought to a hotel environment with ‘relaxed meals served tiffin style’. To give hotel guests a sense of nostalgia, the meal is delivered in customised trolleys and colourful tiffin carriers, creating the whole “The Park Picnic” experience right in your hotel room.

“Amongst the various touch points in the hotel, In-Room Dining is the most dated & boring of all. At every interaction we want our guest to be fully engaged with us when they stay at our hotels. The entire innovation has been designed by our Executive Chefs across hotels,” said Vijay Dewan, Managing Director, The Park Hotels while talking about “The Park Picnic”.

They’ve even created special menus for the picnic with names like ‘My Own Tea Picnic With Vada Pao & Pakoras’ or ‘The Asian Picnic with Tom Yum Soup’, ‘The European Picnic with Homemade Breads & Roasts’ among others.

Guests can avail of ‘The Park Picnic’ at seven properties in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Visakapatnam and Bengaluru.
