Pick From Choicest Of Food And Beverage Brands At 23 Western Railway Stations

23 prominent train stations on the Western Railway have been availed the e-catering facility reports the Economic Times. The passengers can pick food and beverages from popular brands like Domino’s Pizza, Faasos, Havmor, Haldiram, Delhi Darbar, Comesum, McDonald’s, MFC, to name a few.

“Our passengers can avail IRCTC’s e-catering services at 23 major stations of Western Railway. Vendors at stations such as Mumbai Central, Bandra Terminus, Andheri, Ahmedabad, Gandhidham, Surat, Nandurbar, Vasai Road, Maninagar, Mahesana, Palanpur, Anand, Bharuch, Vadodara, Rajkot, Dwarka, VapiNSE 0.00 %, Chittorgarh, Indore, Nimach, Ratlam, Ujjain and Nagda can easily deliver food to the passengers,” a WR official told the Economic Times.

The report further says the e-catering service currently being enjoyed by the stations at the Western Railway was an initiative by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The passengers wanting to avail the facility can simply enter the PNR number on the e-catering website and pick food and beverages of their choice from the set menu. “Orders can also be placed over phone by calling on a number or through an SMS,” the official added while talking to the Economic Times. He further said that the passengers ordering food can pay online or even pay through cash on delivery.
