The Ultimate Burger For Every Vegetarian
Vegetarians, sick and tired of hearing that non-vegetarian food tastes better, and that your only option for tasty, good food is paneer? Well, here’s a recipe that’s guaranteed to stun all your pro-non vegetarian friends into silence. Made out of simple ingredients such as black beans, oats, and spices, this Black Bean Burger is sure to be a much requested dish for all your future pot-lucks, and brunches. It’s so delicious, it will have even non-vegetarians come back for more!

Instructions
For the black bean patty
- Preheat oven to 375
- Heat pan on stove medium high with the oil. I use a cast iron pan so that I can transfer straight to the oven.
- Reserve ¾ cup beans.
- Place all other ingredients in the food processor and pulse until combined but still slightly chunky.
- Stir in remaining beans.
- Form patties. (Approximately 8)
- Fry in oil for a few minutes on each side until browned and crispy.
- Place in oven and bake for 25 minutes.
For the cilantro lime sauce
- Mix all ingredients. Put in as much lime zest as you can get!
- Refrigerate for a few hours to enhance flavors.
And now, the burger
- But a burger bun in half
- Add your vegetables. Goes great with tomato, avocado, onion, lettuce, and cucumber.
- Lay the patty on top.
- Drizzle sauce all over the patty - be generous!
- Close with other half of the bun.
- Enjoy!
