Chef Pasta Aglio E Olio Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pound dried spaghetti
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 8 garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley minced
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the directions in the package.
- Before draining, reserve 1 1/2 cups of the water the pasta is cooked in.
- Heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic.
- Add the red pepper flakes and sauté for a minute.
- Pour in the reserved pasta water and allow to come to boul.
- Lower to simmer and add the salt and simmer for five minutes.
- Toss the garlic mixture with the pasta.
- Add the parmesan and parsley and toss.
- Serve.
