Honey garlic chicken is the perfect recipe for a lazy after work dinner or for when it’s not your day at the kitchen. All you’ll need are a few basic ingredients which are easy to find. Here’s what you’ll need.

- cup ½honey
- cup ¼soy sauce
- 4 cloves of garlic
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon ketchup
- Salt to atste
- pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine chicken breasts and soy sauce and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- Drain the chicken and keep it aside.
- In another bowl, add the marinated chicken, egg whites, cornstarch and mix well. Make sure the egg whites and the cornstarch mixture fully coat the chicken pieces.
- Now, in a wok, heat oil and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and set aside.
- Drain the oil from the work and add chopped garlic, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, ketchup and mix them together.
- Add salt and pepper according to taste and stir until everything is combined well together.
- Tip in the chicken pieces and mix, making sure all the pieces are coated in the sauce.
- Remove from heat, plate and garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy it with a cup of warm rice.
