Italian Meatballs Recipe
No one whips up meatballs better than Italian, and we say this from experience. Also, there has to be a reason meatballs taste absolutely amazing in a marinara or arabiatta sauce laden spaghetti, right? And you know what’s better than store-bought meatballs? Homemade Italian meatballs!
The following recipe involves making the meatballs with ground beef, which is how its done traditionally, but you can switch it with minced chicken, lamb, and even goat meat! But make sure you have all the right seasoning because they play a key role in getting the taste right. So get ready to dish out some meaty Italian meatballs tonight!

Ingredients
- 500 gram ground beef*
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup grated locatelli cheese

Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl by hand.
- Use your bare hands for best results.
- Wet your hands slightly and roll meatballs to about the size of a golf ball.
- Drop raw meatballs into large pot of sauce (your choice, but we suggest marinara) and simmer for about 3 hours.
- Serve hot.
