Instructions
In a bowl mix the yeast in warm water and sugar till well combined and set aside for about ten minutes.
When the yeast is activated, sprinkle a little flour and set aside for another five minutes.
Take a large bowl to make the dough and mix the flour and the salt in it.
To kneed the dough, make a well in the middle of the flour and pour in the yeast mixture.
Keep adding small amounts of water and keep kneading the dough.
Once the dough is soft and moist, cover the bowl with a towel and keep it aside for rising for about an hour and a half.
When the dough has risen give it a punch and then make eight equal portions of it.
Turn this portions into balls using your hands.
Roll out the dough balls into an oval shape and then prick the rolled out bread with fork to make a design.
Keep the oven on preheat at 450°F and bake the naan at the same temperature for about 10 minutes or till it gets a golden colour.
