Max’s Chicken Waffle Cupcakes Recipe
We’re sure you must’ve heard of chicken waffles but never a Chicken Waffle Cupcake. Well, it’s one of Max’s creation so she must have perfected the recipe before bringing it out to the world.So, fans of Two Broke Girls, without further ado we bring to you another one of Max’s homemade delights. Ingredients
- 3 cups cake flour*
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1 cup softened unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp extra softened unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 5 large Whole Eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 6 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp maple sugar
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 24 waffle pieces
- 24 fried chicken nugget pieces
- maple syrup to drizzle

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Line 24 cupcakes tins with cupcake liners and keep it aside.
- Mix butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl till get a light and fluffy texture.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and add it to the butter mix.
- To this, beat in one egg at a time and thoroughly combine and smoothen the mixture.
- Add vanilla extract to it and mix it in.
- Add the mixture to the cupcake moulds till each of them is half full.
- Bake for 20 minutes till it attains and a golden colour and the toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove the cupcakes from the moulds and leave them aside to cool.
- Once cooled, take a food injector and inject one teaspoon of maple syrup into each cupcake.
- For the frosting mix together butter and cream cheese till it's light and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar slowly, one cup and a time and mix thoroughly.
- Beat in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, maple sugar.
- Pipe this frosting onto the cupcakes in a circular manner.
- Put a piece of waffle and chicken nugget on a toothpick and skewer this onto the cupcake.
- Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup.
