Raj Kachori Recipe

on

As seen before, a kachori is an Indian deep-fried delicacy that is usually filled with roasted pulses, onion, and/or vegetables. On other form of kachori is a thinner, crunchier variant sans the filling. Imagine an enlarged pani puri without the pani and fillings. This is the kachori used to make raj kachori, a popular North Indian street food.

The raj kachori uses the quintessential chat ingredients like tamarind chutney, coriander chutney, whipped yogurt, dahi bhalla, papdi, sprouts, and the likes. So what makes it so different? Probably the way in which all these ingredients come forth to prepare one humongous and delicious snack sets this classic preparation apart from other street snacks. And despite looking like a gorgeous piece of work, it takes minimal effort to put together the snack. Follow the recipe below and enjoy a delicious street-style raj kachori at home!
