A Series Of Unfortunate Events Pasta Puttanesca Recipe
In an A Series of Unfortunate Events, when the Baudelaires have been shunted to stay with Count Olaf, he forces them to cook dinner. After visiting the Judge’s library they decide to make pasta puttanesca with homemade pasta. Whip up a similar dish (sans the homemade pasta) using this recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 can tomatoes diced
- 3/4 cup arugula chopped
- 1/3 cup Parmesan grated
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes crushed
- 1 tbsp oregano leaves
- 8 ounces tin spaghetti
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 cup flat leaf parsley chopped
- 1/4 cup olives pitted
- 2 tbsp capers
- 1 tsp anchovy paste

Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package.
- Heat the oil and saute the garlic for a minute. Add the parsley, olives, capers, anchovy paste, oregano and crushed pepper.
- Sauté for two minutes.
- Stir in the tomatoes and simmer for five minutes.
- Add the arugula and simmer for another minute.
- Toss this sauce with the pasta.
