Suits Perfect Steak Recipe
In the third season, Louis Litt asks Harvey if Mike Ross to be his associate and the latter surprisingly says yes. Now Litt wants Mike to like him and see what it’s like working for him before making him official and to do that gives him a case representing a steakhouse, the one he loves as much as his precious prunie. According to Litt the eatery has the best steak and a cheesecake that can blow his socks off and Mike agrees. So here’s the recipe for the steak!

Ingredients
- 2 lean strip steaks 12-ounces total
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 2 cloves crushed garlic

Instructions
- The steaks need to be at a room temperature before the cooking process begins.
- Now, season the steaks with salt and pepper and keep an iron skillet on high flame.
- Add oil and make sure that it's spread all over the surface.
- Place steaks over the hot oil and cook for about 3 minutes on each side or till you see a brown colour.
- Turn the flame to medium and add butter, thyme and garlic to one side of the pan and soon as the butter starts to heat up, baste the steaks with it.
- Cook for about 2 minutes while basting the steaks constantly and then remove.
- Cover up the steaks with foil although not too tightly and keep aside for 10 minutes for resting.
- Take out the left over butter mixture from the pan.
- Once the steak is well rested, cut it diagonally into thin slices and serve six equal portions with some fried potatoes and tossed salad.
- Pour the butter mixture without the garlic and thyme over the steaks just before serving.
