The Walking Dead Carol’s Cookies Recipe
In season 5, episode 13 of The Walking Dead, the team reaches the ‘safe zone’ and to celebrate, Carol decides to bake a batch of cookies. So delicious are the cookies that Sam, Jessie’s son sneaks into the store room after Carol in the hope to get some more than his share and catches her trying to steal some guns. First, Carol tries to buy his silence with more cookies but then threatens to throw him out to the zombies. Yikes.
Scary Carol aside, these cookies became the talk of the internet when AMC decided to release the cookie recipe to the general public. Instead of eggs, they use apple sauce and instead of chocolate chips, they require a chocolate bar – after all, when you’re on the run you have to make do with what you get, right?
Try the recipe to see why Sam was so adamant on getting some more.
