Ryan Reynolds’ Christmas Cookie Fail Is Totally Relatable

That ‘tis the season to be jolly cannot be reiterated any further. But do you know what else comes with this festive glee and merriment? Food. Especially holiday treats like cakes and cookies. And do you know whose baking skills tank worse than our past prediction for bitcoin? Ryan Reynolds.

Now, he may be slaying some serious ass in his swanky red and black onesie and swords, but the actor just cannot whip up a decent batch of Christmas cookies. A weakness that was brought to light by Reynolds’ spouse Blake Lively, who shared on social media the Deadpool star’s epic baking fail.

Lively shared the baking sheet full of broken and haphazardly iced cookies (read, dead and borderline scary) on Instagram. “@vancityreynolds made some Christmas cookies”, she captioned the image of her husband’s creations.

Meanwhile, to this public exposé of his terrible baking skills Reynolds had a quick reply. He commented on the post “I wanted to be the first person to bake Christmas cookies using only a hammer.”

Guess we all know who should stick to just comedy. Or baking for Halloween parties. Just saying. Although, to be fair, they may have not tasted as bad as they looked.
