Singer Darshan Raval Could Stay Back In Delhi Just For The Food
There are no two ways about the fact that the Capital’s street food – and, in general, food – is a party for every palate. From the zesty street food hubs of Chandni Chowk and Rajouri Garden to the fine dining experiences of Indian Accent and Dum Pukht, New Delhi has every gastronomes’ wishes covered. And the latest food-lover to endorse the city’s rich food culture is popular singer Darshan Raval.
23-year-old Raval, who has been a part of famous Bollywood and Indie music albums like Sanam Teri Kasam and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, was recently in Delhi to perform at Lady Irwin College. During his visit, the musician spoke about his love for the Capital’s food revealing that he could stay back in the city for another month just because of its food.
“I love Delhi’s food. Even last night, after the concert, when my team and I went outside, we were deciding where to eat and I told everyone I can come to Delhi and stay for a month just to eat,” he says, adding, “All of Delhi’s food is so mouth-watering that it is hard to pick favourites. I am still exploring this place, and I don’t remember places’ names. But so far, I have loved the roasted barfi that this place sells near Old Delhi, as well as the chhole-kulche that is sold on the roadside.”
Spoken like a true street food fanatic, Darshan!
