Snoop Dogg Just Stirred Up A Record-Breaking Amount Of Cocktail
Don’t let the weekday blues get you down already because Snoop Dogg just stirred up enough poison for a whole bunch of us. The American rapper made good use of his Memorial Day weekend as he took to create a world record in the form of a tall – and we mean really tall – glass of paradise cocktail at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival.
Snoop was assisted by Warren G and Top Chef’s Michael Voltaggio in the milestone task of mixing up gin and juice for the cocktail, which he introduced to the public in his 1993 debut album Doggystyle during the days of Snoop Doggy Dog. Warren G shared the Young, Wild & Free artist’s feat on Instagram as well. Take a look.
The cocktail that came complete with a big little paper umbrella atop the 5-foot-tall and 3-feet-wide glass consisted of 180 bottles of Hendricks gin topped off with a whole lot of OJ. In total, the drink was 500 liters or about 132 gallons.
Given the colossal nature of the ingredients and the cocktail, umm, shaker, the achievement has been recognized by the Guinness World Record, which stated that “the largest paradise cocktail was achieved by Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Miachael Voltaggio, Kim Kaechele, and Kendall Coleman (All U.S.A.) in Napa, California, U.S.A. on 26 May 2018.”
For all of us, who weren’t able to sip from the record-breaking alcohol glass, let this be an inspiration that no amount of gin and juice is ever enough! Also, this is a great way to stay on top of your Vitamin C game. Happy Wednesday, y’all!
