Swiggy Launches Single Serve Meal Services Across India

Aiming at the young professionals, Swiggy has come up with a new services called POP across seven cities in India reports Medianama. The delivery service will have a single serve meals that come at a price range of Rs. 99 to Rs.200 and offers food and beverages from nearby restaurants.

The single-serve meal menu includes the Indian favourites and has meals like thalis, biryani, Asian combos along with burgers and bowls. Well-known restaurants like Saravana Bhavan in Chennai, Paradise Biryani in Hyderabad, Rolls Mania in Pune, Dum Matka in Mumbai and some other popular chains like Subway, Rajdhani, Burger King and Taco Bell have tied up with Swiggy POP reports Medianama.

“POP was conceptualized keeping in mind the time-pressed working professionals who do not have access to a kitchen and need a hassle-free and foolproof fix to their daily meals,” said Anuj Rathi- VP, Product, Swiggy while talking to Medianama. The company also told the publication that the customers ordering food from the single-serve menu will have to pay the same price as shown to them and it won’t have additional delivery charges at checkout. The service has begun in Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.
