Tandoori Chicken Lollipop Recipe
We are in the mood to chug down a few beers this weekend and we require something more fancy and special as the accompaniment for our chilled bottle. What better way to give some spicy kick to your side dish than some legs of chicken marinated in spicy masala and baked to perfection. This tandoori chicken lollipop recipe will give you the incentive to toss away those chips packets and bite into some succulent meat.

Ingredients
- 6 pieces of chicken lollipop
- 4 tbsp of plain yoghurt
- 1/2 tsp of ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp of garlic paste
- 1 tsp of tandoori masala
- 1/2 tsp of jeera powder
- 1 tsp of red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp of garam masala
- 2 pinch of red-orange food color

Instructions
- In a large bowl, add 2 tbsp of yogurt, 1 tsp of tandoori masala, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp of jeera powder, 1/2 tsp of ginger paste, 1/2 tsp of garlic paste, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, pinch of red food colouring and salt and mix well
- Add the chicken drumstick pieces into this marinade and mix it well making sure the masala coats all parts of the chicken
- Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes
- Preheat the oven at 170 degrees C
- Add the chicken pieces into a baking dish brushed with oil
- Bake the chicken pieces for 40 minutes or until the chicken pieces are completely cooked
- Remove from the oven and serve hot
