The ten day long festival brings along with it a bounty of games, glee, and grubs. The latter being of maximum interest. The Onam spread, also known as Sadhya (or Sadya), boasts of a number of delicious dishes including the rich and delightful likes of parippu, avial, thoran, pachadi, kaalan, elissery, kichadi, koottukari, and much more.
