The film will be screened at Giornate degli Autori, which is an independent event that is organized alongside the Venice Film Festival similar to Cannes Film Festival’s Directors Fortnight. The event is aimed at shining the spotlight on top-notch cinema that boasts of innovation, research, originality and independence.
Khanna will follow up the screening with a special dinner spread that will feature seventy handpicked dishes from his home country to commemorate 70 years of India’s independence. The chef had recently also shared his thoughts via social media on the milestone date earlier last month when he represented India at the United Nations.
